The Saturday before Easter we always have a family Easter picnic. We cook hot dogs, visit and have an egg hunt. It was pretty cold this year, you would think with Easter being the end of April it would of been nice, but not with the crazy weather we have been having.
Easter morning the kids were excited to see what the Easter Bunny put in their baskets
We have been trying to teach Rhett the true meaning of Easter. We didn't know if he was paying attention but the other day we drove by the prison and we were telling Rhett that is where they put bad people. He asked if the people who were mean to Jesus were in there, we said they should be. We hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!

I told Marlee yesterday that I used to like Spring, but not so much this year...crazy weather!
That is a super cute story about Rhett. Proof you are teaching in right! Your eggs turned out cute. Someday I'll let my kids near color dye ;)
