Last weekend we headed up to the canyon to camp for the weekend. We have never taken the boys camping and some of my family were going so we thought we would join them. We couldn't have picked a better time to go. The weather was perfect and everyone had a good time. I don't know what it is about being up in the mountains but the food taste better, the days are so relaxing and fun, it was a great get away. Mike and I have mentioned we need to do it again because Rhett and Tate had such a good time.

All Rhett wanted to do was go fishing. He tried with his fising pole for a while and then it was more fun to get in the water and throw rocks and see if there were fish hiding in there.

This was the favorite place for all the kids. They loved playing in the dirt, making mud and having fun!
We had such a good time I hope we are able to do it more often. Rhett is already asking when do we get to go and do that again.

How fun! It is nice to have a change of pace every now and again. Glad the weather was good! The boys are both so cute, I love Tate sitting in his little camping chair he is getting so big! Hopefully we can make it next year.
Something about camping, dirt, and rock equals a great time for a little boy! Glad you had such a good time.
